Welcome to Byatt-Smith Antiques
We are a small, independent antiques business based in Newcastle upon Tyne, specialising in quality antique furniture and interiors. Our mission is simple: to make the world of antiques welcoming, understandable, and accessible to everyone.

Antiques shouldn’t feel exclusive or mysterious. Whether you’re an experienced collector or buying your first piece, we believe finding something beautiful for your home should be enjoyable and personal. That’s why we take time to carefully source interesting, well-made pieces with real character – from elegant Georgian and Victorian furniture to stylish vintage lighting. Every item we sell has been chosen with care, and we share its story, history, and craftsmanship.

Alongside offering antiques for sale worldwide, we also provide expert advice, antique valuations, and bespoke sourcing services across across the North East and the wider UK.

At Byatt-Smith Antiques, we aim to connect people with pieces they’ll love for years to come – without the jargon, pressure, or pretense.
