The rectangular tray with two inset pen dishes, two cobalt blue, silver-mounted cut-glass ink bottles and central stamp box, decorated with foliate swags and twisted ribbons, contained within a gardrooned border with acanthus corners, raised on scroll feet.
7.5cm high x 21.5cm wide x 14cm deep.

This firm of retail silversmiths, dating from the mid 18th century - early 20th century. Francis Boone working from the 1850s up until his death in 1900, a year after this piece was hallmarked.
