with a hinged lid and glass inkwell, the underside inscribed 'Goldsmiths and Silversmith Company LTD 112 Regent Street'.

Markers mark for Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd, London 1906.

Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Company Ltd was founded by William Gibson and John Lawrence Langman in 1880. Selling from a large shop on Regent Street, London, they gained Royal Warrants by the mid 1880s. In 1952 they were amalgamated into Garrard & Co.

Marks rubbed to the front, otherwise in excellent overall condition.
