An Anglepoise Model 90 cream painted lamp, circa 1970s
In working order and stamped to the fork 'ANGLEPOISE 90'and raised on a weighted dome base. Fitted with a three pin plug and bayonet bulb.
Max height: 80.5cm, 19cm diameter.
Surprise! It's another Anglepoise - this time a Model 90. First produced around 1973 by Terry & Sons, during the 70s design boom. Designed to be a more accessible, modern, and vibrant version of the classic 1227 (the later one, not the 1938 version that we have). The Model 90 would later be replace by the Apex 90 (which we currently also have in stock), which featured a wider shade and a housing for the cable through the elbow. The Model 90 remains one of Anglepoise's most recognisable designs to date and makes it an elegant but efficient lighting solution.
Condition.
In excellent full working condition, a few minor age related chips and scuffs otherwise in ready to go condition.
