A pair of sheet brass latch ejector candlesticks, circa 1900
each with cylindrical stems with five slots or notches up its length, the sconce with slot, possibly for carrying handle, raised on dished circular bases.
28.5cm high, 15cm diameter.
A good sized pair of ejector candlesticks with handy latches so you can keep track of your candle burning into the evening. Perhaps allow loved ones two notches on birthdays and at Christmas, we will leave that up to you. Either way you won't see a pair of these on next door's mantlepiece.
Condition.
Well presented overall, they appear to have been altered to allow for a carry handle along neck of each candlestick. Quite heavy tarnish to the back of one candlestick.
